Storytelling activity

This is the first activity that we have to do , for this activity we were said to choose one children book and we have to addapt it and tell it later in class to our classmates as if we were telling the book to children from Infant Education.
The book that i chose for doing this activity was "The rainbow fish" by Marcus Pfister.

I chose this book for doing this activity because i think that it is a  very useful book for storytelling , because it is a very easy story to follow with no so many details and children can understand it with no  too much efort . 
It is truth that i have made some addaptations for making the story even easier for beginners  , like  shorteing more the story and taking out some unimportant details , also i have simplified the vocabulary and i have made some grammar modifications to make it more undestandable .
Also i have include some dialoges between characters to make it also easier students to undestand.
The story shows some important values such as friendship , and being kind with others.
Also it has an educational content that is that children learn about the Ocean wild life.
One aspect that i like about the story is the fact that children can connect well with the characters that appears in the story and they even can feel identified with them .
 Also while im telling the story i give one different voice to each character , to seperate one from another , that way i let children being able to know when each character speaks and whom is whom.
So know i am going to include my addaptation:

Long ago  at a  deep blue sea lived a fish. It was not a common fish . It was the most beautiful fish from the Ocean , with very colourful scales in blue , green , purple and silver .
The other fish like its beauty . They called him Rainbowfish
They would tell him to come and play with them.
But the Rainbow fish never goes .
One day a Little blue fish asked him if he could give him one of his wonderful and shiny scales .
 The Rainbow fish , told The little blue fish to live him alone.
 

 The Little blue fish was so upset , that , he swam very quickly and went to see his friends to tell them what has happened .
They all decided that they will ignore The Rainbow fish .
Now The Rainbow fish was the lonelynest fish from the Ocean.
One day he went to see The starfish that was a friend of him , to tell her  about his problem . 

 _ Rainbow fish : I am beautiful . Why others don´t like me?
The Starfish told The Rainbow fish , that she couldn´t help him , but the  Octopus from the cave can.
 
 The Rainbow fish found the cave . It was a very dark cave , he couldn´t see anything .Then he found two eyes looking at him .It was the  Octopus!

- Octopus : I was waiting for you , I know your problem what you need to do is to give one of your scales to each other fish .
You won´t be the most beautiful fish , but you will be happy .
The Rainbow fish wondered how he could be happy without his shining scales .
Suddenly  he found that The Little blue fish was there again .
-  Little blue fish  :Rainbow fish , please don´t be angry I just want one of your shiny scales.

The Rainbow fish thought oh it was just only one little scale , and he wasn´t going to miss it .
So he gave the shiny scale to The Little blue fish .
Little blue fish was very happy , he thanks a lot to Rainbow fish .
Little blue fish went swimming all across the Ocean ,showing his  Shinning scale , the other fishes  that had seen him  , wanted also to have one shiny scale.
The Rainbow fish gave one of his shiny scales to each of them .
Finally The Rainbow fish only has one of his shinning scales , but it wasn´t a problem because he was very happy .
Now other fishes wanted to be their friends .
- Other fishes  : Come on Rainbow fish , come on and play with us . They shouted.
 - Rainbow fish : Let,s go !
And very happily he will go to play with his friends.
